Often, we are the Hare. We rush forward with the next big idea. But without the plan and purpose of the Tortoise, we fail. We have no reason to keep going forward so we let distractions seep in, forget the point of the race altogether, wrapped up in our own glory because we're the best. We stop moving, and therefore stop innovating. We think taking a break is ok, because we deserve it. We need to become the Tortoise--or at least realize that we might be The Hare.
